Why the solar panel can not produce out 100w power as descripted when charging?
Such issue is caused by the working way of solar panel. It converts sunlight to power directly, no battery inside to store power and give out stable output. Sunlight intension is always changed, then the output power from solar panel will be larger when sunshine is stronger, and poor when sunshine is weak. Maximum 5A current is tested at an ideal laboratory condition, STC Irradiance 1000W/m², TC=25℃, AM=1.5. Also, we say it is max 5A at no load condition. When the load is under charging, the real working current is less than the data via formula due to the consumption. Or the angel of sunlight toward to solar panel will also cause large power difference.
