This kind of GGXingEnergy® ETFE 30w solar powered charger is different with a general PET solar power charger. The ETFE surface is more transparent and with honey-comb structure, which can absorb more sunlight. General USB 5V 2.1A max can charge the general 5V USB supported devices, like phone, power bank, GPS, PSP, switch, earphone… The orange USB is QC3.0 24w max (5v9v12v). The type-c port is PD 18w max (5v9v12v). The two ports can support the QC3.0 and PD protocol electronic devices to realize quick charging.

1)Can the 30w solar powered charger be suitable for MacBook or another laptop?

We suggest to use the 120w model for MacBook. This 30w solar powered charger can not charge laptop, which will need 18v for supporting.

2)We see another similar 30w item can be used for portable power station or a 12v battery. Will this 30w solar powered charger be the same feature?

Sorry, this 30w solar powered charger is max 12v, and it is without 18v out to charge a portable power station or a 12v battery.

3)How quick can it charge, specially it is with the quick charging function?

Because the solar powered charger is without battery inside to store power, its output will be unstable as per the sunshine intension. If the device fits with the QC3.0 and PD protocol, it can be powered via the QC3.0 or the PD port on the 30w solar powered charger to enjoy quick charging. When sunlight is strong enough, it can produce out enough current to support the devices and charge it fully with similar full charging time via the wall outlet.

4)Can I leave the solar powered charger in rain, since it is waterproof?

Please do not leave it in rain, although its material is waterproof. The cloth and the solar panel are sewed together. There is still risk to let water be in. But the water splash on surface is no problem. However, the output junction box is totally not waterproof. Please do protect it well when use.
